Bogd Khan Park contains sacred mountains and rock carvings, over 300 plant varieties, animals such as boar, foxes, hares, wolves, squirrels, eagles and woodpeckers, plus a deer farm. Visit the Manzhir Khid 18th century monastery in the southern reserve. This place is also ideal for trekking, hiking and horse riding.

Bogd Khan Mountain national park

After meet in Ulaanbaatar, drive to Bogd Khan Mountain National Park (50km) and visit the Manzhir Khid 18th century monastery in the southern reserve. In the afternoon, travel on horseback to visit a nomad family and discover their way of life, their culture and traditions. Overnight in tourist ger camp. (L+D)

Hiking through Bogd Khan Mountain National park

Today we hike up to Tsetse Gun (2200m), the highest point of Bogd Khan Mountain. Once at the summit eat a packed lunch and enjoy the view! Then the hike continues to the star watching camp where you can enjoy the night sky and star watching. Overnight in tourist ger camp. (B + L + D)

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, drive back to Ulaanbaatar and finish the trip. (B)
