The early days of the tour take in the beauties of the second largest fresh water Lake Huvsgul and Taiga Mountains, before flying back to Ulaanbaatar to participate in the Naadam festival, the national holiday of Mongolia. Once you have had your fill of the sports, people watching and local food and culture, we will fly out to the Gobi desert to visit sand dunes and the land of dinosaurs with some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see. This trip also offers you the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of fun activities, including horse and camel riding, boating, hiking and visiting nomad families. Tour itinerary

Day 1. July 05. Arrive in Mongolia
After arriving in Ulaanbaatar , you'll be greeted at the airport and escorted to your hotel. After lunch, we will have a city tour including Gandan monastery. Relax (L+D)

Day 2. July 06. Fly to Murun and drive to Huvsgul National park
In the morning, we will fly to the capital of the Huvsgul province, Murun. The flight takes one and a half hours, and on arrival at the airstrip in the Murun you will be taken to Huvsgul Lake National Park . Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 3-4. July 07-08. Discover Huvsgul National park
During two lovely days, we will explore the fascinating and unique spot of Huvsgul Lake – the deepest (262 m) fresh water lake in Mongolia . You have the opportunity to trek to the lakeside & mountain to explore and take pictures and discover wildlife, flora & fauna of Huvsgul lake area. The photographic expedition can be made by horse riding, boating or walking and fishing. Lunch, dinner and overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 5. July 09. Drive to Murun and fly back Ulaanbaatar
Up early to travel back to Murun with your guide for your return flight to Ulaanbaatar . Check in Hotel and in the afternoon visit National History Museum, where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present. Dinner in one of the finest restaurants and overnight in the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 6. July 10. Naadam festival preview                           Top  
After breakfast, you will go out with your guide to see the preview of the Naadam Festival. You will visit the horse-racing arena to watch a race of foals followed by the archery – these are the national sports of Mongolia . Overnight in the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 7. July 11. The ceremony of Naadam festival
Today you will watch the inauguration ceremony of Naadam which is opened by the president of Mongolia. You will see a performance of the national instrument Morin Khuur and a choir concert before attending the horse races taking place outside the city center. Overnight in hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 8. July 12. Fly to South Gobi and visit Eagle valley
We will fly to the capital of the South Gobi . The flight takes one and a half hours, and on arrival at the airstrip in the Gobi a local driver will take you to Yolyn Am, or ‘ Eagle Valley '. Yol Am is a picturesque place; there is ice even in summer and surrounded by sheer rocky walls, forming incredible canyons. The areas are situated in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park that encompasses the "Three Beauties" peaks and the most easterly points of the Altai Mountains. You may also visit the Gobi museum. Day 9-10. July 13-14. Explore Dinosaur's land and Khongor Sand Dune
Early morning, we will be driven to Khongor Sand Dunes. These are Mongolia 's largest sand dunes, reaching a height of 800 meters in some areas. The sand dunes change color with each hour of the day, from yellow to silver to rose-colored at dawn and sundown. We will drive to the legendary “Flaming Cliffs,” where, in 1922, the first nest of dinosaur eggs the world had ever seen was discovered. Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 11. July 15. Fly back Ulaanbaatar and city tour options                                   Top  
After breakfast will have a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. City tour options and you will be taken to souvenir and cashmere shops. A farewell dinner and overnight in the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 12. July 16. Departure back Mongolia
After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport. (B)
