Mongolia Naadam Festival Tour 3 - Days
Like the Rio de Janeiro Carnival in Brazil and the Munich Oktoberfest in Germany, Naadam festival is the largest and the most popular celebration of Mongolia. Due to its exoticness and significance, its international audience is increasing year by year. During the three-day lasting festival, tournament of three traditional Mongolian sports - wrestling, horse racing and archery - take place. Opening ceremony of the festival is the highlight with the performance of dozens of various artists and shows. Almost everyone dresses in their beautiful traditional outfit called "dell", made in rich colors.

Although the major event takes place in Ulanbator, every province and village celebrates Naadam festival in their adopted way.

July 10. Naadam festival preview

Meet in UB and you will go out with your guide to see the preview of the Naadam Festival. You will go out with your guide to see the preview of the Naadam Festival. You will visit the horse-racing arena to watch a race of foals and archery, "Shagai" (ankle bone) shooters. You can enjoy a national folklore performance. Overnight in the hotel. (L+D)

July 11. The ceremony of Naadam festival

Today you will watch the inauguration ceremony of Naadam which is opened by the president of Mongolia, before attending the horse races taking place outside the city center. Overnight in hotel. (B + L + D)

July 12. City tour and second day of Naadam

After breakfast at the hotel there will be an excursion to the Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get your bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Watch second day of Naadam, including wrestling, archery and traditional games. End trip. (B + L)
